Pragmatic Studies – Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
The Associate of Applied Science in Pragmatic Studies is a two-year degree designed specifically for neurodivergent students who may struggle in traditional college settings. By emphasizing Universal Design for Learning (UDL), small cohorts of 12–15 students, and 12–15 classroom hours per week, we empower you to build a strong foundation for a successful career and a meaningful life.
Curriculum & Outcomes
Graduates of the Pragmatic Studies program will emerge as socially responsible citizens capable of transforming and sustaining their communities. Students possess the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to meet their postsecondary goals and significantly improve long-term employment outcomes. Through this curriculum, our Mavericks demonstrate that learning differences are not an obstacle to profound personal and professional success.
Associate Degree Requirements
- Completion of general education requirements (varying by area of study and transfer credit).
- Successful completion of at least 60 credit hours with the final 15 taken in residence.
- Cumulative GPA above 2.0.
